1952 — Walk East on Beacon

A soviet spy ring is on the trail of a prominent Boston mathematician, trying to get their hands on his breakthrough equations. The longer it takes to get the goods, the more desperate the Soviets become. Can the Boston branch of the FBI snuff out the spy plot before it’s too late? Walk East on Beacon was sponsored by the FBI, which cooperated on the film, including an appearance by Director J. Edgar Hoover.

I believe — based on the sign for the train to New Haven and New York — that this taxi stand is outside South Station. The “Timilty for Mayor” sign on the hotel building across the street confirms that this scene was filmed in Summer, 1951.
