Mass Flicks is my movie-logue of Massachusetts films. In order to make the list, the film should be both predominantly filmed and set in the Bay State, and released in theaters, on the festival circuit, or broadcast on television. I doubt the list of films I’ve compiled is completely inclusive — I’m sure I’ve chosen some movies that were probably filmed more out-of-state than in, there are likely some that are set in “New England” but not explicitly Massachusetts or another state, a few “straight-to-DVD” titles may have snuck through — but it’s my list.
The entries are not reviews, per se. Each will include a synopsis of the film, my brief commentary, and screenshots, most of which will be scenes showing the Massachusetts-ness of the movie. You’ll notice that a lot of those may include highway scenes, which any not be of much interest to you, but is an interest of mine.
